Overview

The Technical Resource Centre under the Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines supports the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical and public health guidelines. This centre is functioning under Department of Health Research (DHR), MoH&W, Government of India. This centre synthesizes scientific evidence and strengthens evidence-informed health policy and practice. It undertakes systematic reviews, meta-analysis, guideline development and capacity-building activities to promote the use of evidence in healthcare decision-making.

    Systematic reviews and evidence synthesis on communicable and non-communicable diseases to support evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

    Development of evidence-based clinical and health system guidelines from the evidence synthesis.

    Capacity building in evidence synthesis and evidence-based guideline development.

  • Conduct systematic reviews and evidence synthesis to inform national health policies and programme implementation.

    Provide technical and scientific supports to DHR for evidence-informed decision-making.

    Support the development of national evidence-based guidelines for healthcare programmes.

    Contribute to the evaluation of diagnostics, treatments and public health interventions used in national programmes.

    Strengthen capacity building and dissemination of evidence to support effective programme planning and implementation.
